The Joan C. Banfield Foundation

Grant Application Information

The Joan C. Banfield Foundation was organized in 2004 and is dedicated to building an endowment to enrich the quality, participation and support of the female athletics ages K to 12th grade in the Dexter Community. It is a non-profit, volunteer organization.

Downloadble version.

The goal of the Joan C. Banfield Foundation is to provide financial support for participation opportunities, organizations and coaching of female athletics that otherwise would not be funded by the school district, or other community organizations.

Individuals, families, companies and corporations can support us with contributions or through the donation of items, especially sports memorabilia that can be used in our various fund raising events, including the annual golf outing, held for female athletic participation.

The JCB Foundation accepts grant applications throughout the year. Each grant will be reviewed by the JCB Board of Directors for conformity with the goals of the Foundation. All applications that address female youth athletics in Dexter will be accepted for review. The Foundation wishes to encourage, through its grants, the promotion of female athletic programs that create and encourage a connection between female youth athletic programs and high school programs.

Please obtain the Downloadble version of the grant form and complete the following:
